Two 12mo in publisher's cloth with spine labels. 236, 264 pp. G. Wear and rubbing to boards; corners bumped; spine labels worn and chipped. Bindings are strong. Foxing throughout. Name in ink on front pastedown and ffep. Ships wrapped in bubble wrap and packed securely in a box.
Synopsis
The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon is the compilation of 34 short stories and essays by Washington Irving. It includes some of his most famous stories, such as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle, and was one of the first works of American fiction to become popular in Britain and Europe.
