Olive green cloth with gold gilt lettering and decorations stamped to the front board and spine. Deckling to text block edges. Illustrated with 323 plates, 260 in full colour--some colour plates have been tipped in. Olive green cloth slip case. Illustrated dust jacket on both volumes have some minor shelf wear. Overall, an attractive set. near fine A large, profusely illustrated set on the Sistine Chapel. The second volume is the plate volume with hundreds of details of the murals.
