Later printings of this revised and modernized version of Newton’s Principia, with many of the original mathematical terms updated for the modern reader.

Illustrated with numerous drawings and diagrams and a b/w frontispiece plate. There is slight fading tot he spine with a little dulling of the gilt embossed titling. Light fading to the rear board adjacent to the spine. Light bump to the tail of the spine. Neat ink inscription to the head of the front paste down, 'Owen George Weller, Royal Empire Society, London 1947.' There is slight creasing to the top corner of about 30 page leaves and to the lower corner tip of about 10 other page leaves. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
