About This Item

Dept. of Culture and Tourism, Govt. of Sindh. ** SCARCE ** OVERSIZED HARDCOVER BOOK ** NEAR FINE CONDITION ** NEAR FINE DUSTJACKET ** CLEAN, STAIN-FREE, UNMARKED ** NOT A LIBRARY BOOK ** LAVISHLY ILLUSTRATED IN COLOR ** Published by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Government of Sindh, Pakistan, 1990, 1st Edition, quarto (4to), with 177 pages, dozens of illustrations in color. NOTE: This is the original Pakistani printing with the actual piece of fabric inset on the front, not the later reprint from Bangkok. Book includes an inset cut-out on the front which contains a piece of actual Ajrak cloth inlaid in the front board of the book. Neither book or dustjacket have any major flaws, show only very occasional, minor signs of use (a bit of scattered light scuffing along the board edges, some waviness to the pages 28 - 32, which appears to be an issue with the way the book was bound, as those pages are the ones between the two special semi-transparent printed overlay sheets). The book is perfectly clean and stain-free, square and straight, quite firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, or missing. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or markings of any such kind in the book. All pages are clean and stain-free, crisp and bright, and all text and illustrations are sharp and legible. The dustjacket has a laser cut-out on the front designed to show the inset fabric on the front cover of the book. The jacket is quite clean and stain-free, complete and intact, has no tears, no pieces missing. Buy with confidence, five-star seller, professional booksellers for 35 years, selling books online since 1995. B9. . Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1990.
