Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed and tanned.

Longmans, Green and Co., 1951 216 pages. Ex libris Liverpool-born acclaimed actor, comedian and writer Alexei Sayle! This looks to be an old school coursebook - Alexei's name is written in the front of the book - and his school forms. Book is very well worn - cover is faded and very marked, edges are bumped, and spine is very worn and bumped, with some layers of cover peeling. Pages are very yellowed and worn and marked at edges - and have previous owner's notes written in ink on certain pages. School logo stamped in ink on a couple of pages. Slight musty smell to pages. Condition consistent with age of book. A school French coursebook - guide to French language, verbs, grammar, etc.. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
