Mostly clean pages with light tanning to endpapers and foxed page edges. Former owner's name and marginalia on front endpaper, with rubbing and a couple of tiny nicks to text block edges. Occasional finger marking throughout. Slight tanning along spine and board edges. Forward leaning. Mild rub wear to surfaces and edges with crushing to spine ends and minor bumps to corners. Mildly chipped dust jacket has a few creases, scuffs and small tears. Light tanning. Rubbing with shelf wear. Flaps are unclipped. Water drops down spine.

Slim 12mo., 90pp. Sharp Stated First American Edition, bound in tan cloth with titles in green on spine and in Chinese characters in green on front board. Published by Methuen in the UK. Square, tight and clean throughout with a touch of wear and toning to spine ends.. Very attractive clipped Methuen dust-jacket has some chipping to the spine ends. A few tears to tears that are repaired with small pieces of tapes on the reveres. Looks a lot better than it sounds and is still bright and complete. A solid collectable copy of a surprisingly scarce Edition; much more scarce than the British Edition.
