Steinway (1883-1957), piano technician, philatelist and son of Henry E. Steinway, piano technician and the founder of Steinway & Sons. Harry Kaufman ( 1894-1961 ), American Pianist . Here is a 11 x 8.5 handwritten signed tribute to Steinway in full;

Dear Mr. Steinway: Surely in the annals of musical activity in the United States the name " Steinway and Sons " has always stood for the highest attainable level in beauty of tone and unfailing responsiveness of action, an instrument capable of Ariel- like delicacy as well as Jovian thunder which remains unmatched in the history of piano making. And so may I offer you my cordial felicitations on this occasion of the Centennial celebration of the founding of the house of "Steinway and Sons" - a name synonymous with unsurpassed excellence in piano construction and one likely to maintain its supremacy in that field for generations to come.
