A gorgeous pictorial representation of Wagner's epic drama. This is part of the Ring of the Niblung: a Trilogy with a Prelude by Richard Wagner. Bound in quarter calf and half green buckram with gilt lettering, raised bands to spine. Quarto. 182 pages. Tight, bright, and unmarred with slightly loose, but attached front cover, soiling, and general discoloration to text block, else, bright and attractive. Marbled endpapers. Thirty mounted colour unnumbered leaves of plates and numerous small line drawings in the text with tissue guard on frontispiece.
