Book was originally published in 1956 as Sibyllan. It is often deemed the thematic prequel to 'The Death of Ahasuerus' (1960). 154 pp. plus About the Author. Black boards carry gilt text on spine and publisher's colophon on front board. fon (x2) on paste down & ffep, very slight rubbing at tail of spine ow, fine. Unclipped ($3.00) DJ depicts the path up the mountain to the oracle on the front panel and a full panel, b/w portrait of the author on the rear.
