New York: The Modern Library / Random House, 1965. First Modern Library Edition, September, 1965" stated. Hardcover. Very Good-/Good. 5 x 7 1/8. 3F. Sewn binding in full cloth-covered boards, in dustjacket. Modern Library #361. Appears to be companion volume to #346. Most of the translations are by Louise and Aylmer Maude. Firm binding with intact hinges. Spine is square. No marks. Very slight bumps to bottom corners. Sun-faded at tail of spine, else nice and bright. There is a binder's fault, where two pages appear to have got stuck in the cutting machine, resultiing in ***rough edges and tears to the bottom edges of the two pages.*** Price-clipped dustjacket has light pencil marks front flap, much-faded spine, and quite a lot of wear and tear to extremities, including a 1" square chip at head of spine. Very little soil back panel.
