New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1953 Very nice copy, would be near fine save ffep has been torn out. Clean fresh canary yellow boards with black and gilt spine panel, good binding and corners. No writing or marks. Possible very slight yellowing of pages. 499 pages with vii H.9-63 listed on copyright page and latest copyright is 1953. Good to Fair dj is price clipped with several small chips bottom edge and 1" by 1/2 " piece missing from top of spine, designed by Johannes Troyer with EH motif. Some soiling. Back panel advertises The Old Man and the Sea and references 1953 Pulitzer and 1954 Nobel. Tell tale square on back board indicates BCE.
