Original zebra endpapers. The last (of three) books authored by the noted Central Asian sheep hunter. Deals with bears and Snow Sheep on the Russian Kamchatkan Peninsula. Now that Ovis Nivicola is open to sport hunters, this book is even more in demand. One small crack in rear endpaper, otherwise an incredibly nice, FINE! collector condition copy of this rare book. Original gilt cloth, beveled boards. And in the original dust jacket which is itself near fine. An amazing collector condition copy.
