Paper covered boards are soiled and scratched. Inside, the hinges are cracked but holding. There is a moisture stain on the bottom edge affecting about 20 pages, and another on the bottom corner affecting the last 25 pages. Some finger smudges but still quite clean. Eight unsigned watercolour plates. Includes a golliwog story. Front cover illustration of children building a snowman, by Mabel Lucie Attwell.
