Contains black and white in-text illustrations, with colour illustrated plates. Pages and plates are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Some mild creasing to pages. Rubbed brown marking to a few pages, text is not affected. Dark ink staining to text-block edges. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Scuffing and dark rubbed marking overall. Ink staining to surfaces. Mild splits to joints. Light tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to surfaces. Pencil marking to front board. Book is forward leaning.
