About This Item
This booklet is the second in a series of three, which will take you round the sites of Sherborne's old inns and breweries. All walks start from Sherborne Museum, and the second of these follows a route to the north of the Museum. It's not a difficult walk, and should take around about an hour on a sunny summer's evening. If you allow a little longer, you can sample a pint of beer in one of the pubs en route, or return at the end to the one that looked the most promising.

About Sherborne Museum Publications
Sherborne Museum is located centrally in the heart of the beautiful Dorset town of Sherborne. We occupy what was formerly the Almonry belonging to Sherborne Abbey, now a Grade II listed building. As a registered charity we have independent status and we are the first volunteer-run museum in Dorset to be awarded full Accreditation by the Arts Council. We publish a series of booklets examining various aspects of Sherborne's history, often based on the collections held in the Museum. Our titles are all available for purchase online and in the Museum Shop, and range from a collection of historical recipes, to the grim and bloody story of the Monmouth Rebellion.
