Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Paper over boards, two copper plate engravings as frontis, 112 pages, deckle edges, "adapted for theatrical representation, as performed at the Theatres-Royal Drury-Lane and Covent-Garden. Regulated from the Prompt-Books, by Permission of the Managers. Boards soiled, stained, worn, a piece of heavy tape covers spine, front board nearly detached; rest of text block is tight. Signature which includes one of the plates, title page and one other is detached; bookplate on front end paper with offsetting on front free end paper, previous owner's signature on front free end paper, light foxing on border of one plate, verso of that page and end papers.
