(New York): National Audubon Society, circa [1940s]., [1940s].. Very good. - Octavo, softcover. A sheet of paper is folded once to form 4 pages of text, each 8-1/2 inches high by 5-1/2 inches wide. Laid in are 2 plates, one a black-and-white line drawing of 2 sharp-shinned hawks sitting on a tree branch with a countryside view in the background & the other a version of the same picture by Bruce Horsfall in color. The left-hand bottom corners of the plates are very slightly creased. Very good.
