Boards have some edge wear, with some bumping and fraying to corners. Slight split to upper rear joint. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Book has a moderate forward lean.

In very good quarter bound pale green on mid green cloth boards, black titles to spine. The boards are in excellent condition for age; clean, straight and firm. The front free end paper is missing, the rear end papers feature maps and are unmarked. Slightly tanned and foxed top cut edge; the fore and tail edges are quite clean. The text block is tightly bound and square and clean, except for foxing on end pages and last Index page and half title page. With 'illustrations in pencil and pen and ink by R.E.J. Bush'. Very good condition. Library stamp on half title and title page. Without jacket.
