Minor wear to edge and corners. Spine ends crinkled. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with some age toning along edges. Dustjacket has edge wear, moreso at the spine ends. Some soiling to rear panel. Overal lightly rubbed. The story of 15 years old Mary who leave her home in Scotland to join her cousin in Upper Canada. Upon her arrival she finds her cousin has died and his family is gone, so Mary is left to fend for herself. Inscribed and signed to a previous owner on the half-title page. .
