About This Item
Burton, MI: Subterranean Press, 2001. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. The original edition of a novel about a screenwriter who turns to murder.
The lettered edition includes two extra chapters at the end that are not present in the other versions.
541 pages (compared to 506 pages in the numbered issue). First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket in a fine folding traycase. This copy, while matching the 26 lettered copies, is not lettered. Instead, it is signed on the tipped in limitation page and further inscribed to the previous owner, "For Tom-Beware the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese! Ray Garton." The traycase is one of the most attractive by Subterranean Press.
Laid in with this copy is a copy of the chapbook Pie and Coffee in Hollywood, also inscribed by Garton "To Tom." The chapbook published by Camelot Books and Gifts in 2001 prints a chapter left out of Sex and Violence. The chapbook is fine in wrappers (paper covers).
