Baker..., 1755. 12mo, pp. [viii], 240, newly rebound in quarter calf, gilt spines, morocco label, marbled boards; several fore-margins very closely trimmed. Thomas Sherlock (1677 - 1761) was the son of the controversial William Sherlock (1639/40 - 1707). The 14 discourses printed here are based on Biblical texts.
