Very good/good +. 388pp. Oblong quarto [22 cm] Light salmon-colored cloth with gilt stamped titles on the front board and backstrip. Includes an index. The spine ends are bumped and the boards are slightly warped. In a dust jacket, with sporadic closed tears in the edges, and a small open tear in the surface of the spine. Fully illustrated with black & white photographs on nearly every page. Out of print and increasingly scarce, one of the principal references on Utah photography. Not only does the book cover the building of the Mormon Temple in detail, but Wadsworth has written an excellent overview of pioneer photography in Utah, including chapters on C.R. Savage, Marsena Cannon, James Crockwell, Edward Martin, C.W. Carter, George Edward Anderson, C.W. Symons, the Shiplers and more.
