A Londres, & se trouve à Paris, Chez Buisson..., 1786. 12mo, pp. 359 [360 blank], including half-title, contemporary quarter calf, gilt spine, morocco label, marbled boards; bookplate removed from front paste-down end-paper, names in ink on free end-papers, but a very good copy. In "Towards a Sterne Bibliography" (The Winged Skull, 1971), Kenneth Monkman notes (no. 73) that "Despite the imprint, a Paris-printed edition, purged of all anti-Popery." The translation is by Antoine Gilbert Griffet de la Beaume, with pseudonymous initials. ESTC on-line locates copies in L, B, C, Dt, LEu; CLU-C; and TOu and WWs.
