London: Methuen and Co, 1940. First UK Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Octavo, 376 pages. In Very Good minus condition with Very Good dust jacket. Spine pictorial with black lettering. Dust jacket protected with a mylar covering, and shows mild shelf wear and scuffing, along with light bumping to corners. Mild wear to crown and tail of jacket spine; mild fading to jacket spine. Price uncut: "8s. 6d. net." Spine slightly cocked. Light-colored soiling to lower right corner of front board, and to lower left corner and fore edge of back board. Pages clean; fold-out map at back. Shelved in Case 6. 1357412. Shelved Dupont Bookstore.
