About This Item
Manitoba: The Order of Railroad Telegraphers. Good. 1938. First Edition. Paperback. This intriguing collection appears to have belonged to one J.A. Mills who apparently joined the Order in 1928. His 1948 membership card is included along with eleven stapled booklets, each approximately 6" x 3.5", for the years: 1938, 1941 (2 copies), 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952. Approximately sixteen pages in each issue, some considerably marked, others unmarked. Each booklet contains hundreds of names, along with the member's location, seniority date and certificate number. Wonderful personal mementos of the employees who helped keep the CPR rolling through Manitoba during these years.; 24mo .
