End note on the illustrations. Review copy with an Addison-Wesley-issued review slip asking the critic to embargo their review until the publication date in Oct. 1978. Bound in brown cloth with author's signature blindstamped on front, gilt lettering on spine, light blue endpapers. Top edge very light foxing, else crisp and clean. Dust jacket single closed tear. Caldecott-winning artist's illustrated memoir, designed for children but with universal appeal. Dust jacket is now protected in a clear, removable, archival sleeve.
