Containing a series of numerous poems including 'The Romance of the Swan's Nest',' 'Bertha in the Lane,' 'Wine of Cyprus,' 'Song of the Rose,' and further verses and sonnets.From the library of Lester M. Bevis, with bookplate to front pastedown with ink gift inscription from a previous owner. In the original publisher's half paper vellum binding over marbled boards, marbled endpapers, gilt to edges. Externally sound with some shelf wear, cracking to tail front joint, board holding firm. Boards lightly marked. Front hinge slightly strained, holding firm. Binding generally firm. Pages bright and clean. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
