Selected Poetry by Rudyard Kipling by edited Craig Raine - 1992

The text of this selection is taken from the DEFINITIVE EDITION of Kipling's poetry, with five additional poems from EARLY VERSE BY RUDYARD KIPLING edited by Andrew Rutherford. Volume XXV of the Sussex edition of Kipling's work and volume XXVIII of the Burwash edition of his work contain poems not included in the DEFINITIVE EDITION, but I have chosen none of these. The contents of the DEFINITIVE EDITION (1940) are the same as VERSE, INCLUSIVE EDITION 1885-1932, arranged and edited by Kipling himself, but with additional material authorised by his daughter. Pictorial covers. Read once condition. No inscriptions or marks. Book sits solid and square, binding tight. Text crisp and clean. Price to rear panel. Cover edges a tad chipped. The spine of the book is in near fine condition.
