Red cloth with gilt spine title running lengthwise; blind-stamped running man emblem with both arms stretched out on front cover above "Modern Library." Running man emblem endpapers. Dust jacket in orange and white with "137" on spine and Modern Library catalog on inside. This edition is copyrighted 1955. This style of binding was used by the publisher from 1963 to 1967. Book is in Very Good+ Condition: slightly cocked; 2 small discolored spots on front free endpaper; otherwise, clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Very Good- Condition: rubbed; creasing at spine ends and along upper edge of front section; upper corner of front flap scraped; clean and bright.
