About This Item
New York: Holt, Rinehart, & Winston, 1964. Book. Fine. Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. A first edition copy in fine condition, in a clipped near fine dustjacket. Written by a close friend of Frost --Thompson -- this is as close as the poet came to his autobiography. Among these 566 letters, are letters to Edward Arlington Robinson, poet and playwright, short correspondence between him and President John F. Kennedy, and others. I find the letters written by non-admirers the most interesting because of the response they elicit from Frost..
