Cambridge: The American School of Classical Studies at Athens, 1924. [4], v-vii, [2], 2-33pp, [1], plates. Original cloth, title blocked in black to spine and upper cover. Cloth chipped to spine ends with some loss, small split to cloth covering upper joint, corners rubbed. Text lightly browned, with a couple of small spots of foxing, but generally fairly bright and clean. Lacking one tissue-guard. With a frontispiece and thirty-eight tissue-guarded colour plates (printed by Charles Whittingham and Griggs). Number one hundred and seventy-two of three hundred copies. Particularly rich in early Venetian bindings. Mejer-Herbst 1005; Schmidt-Kunsemuller 960. First Edition. Hardback. Good/No Jacket (as Issued?). 4to.
