About This Item

622 pages. Some abrasions, fading on spine, binding sound and tight, all pages clean, with a little foxing on some initial pages, gentle age-toning.

Publication date unknown, but before 1866, when the book was awarded as the Midsummer 1866 Mark Prize at the famous Crypt School, Gloucester (founded 1539). Book appears unread; pupil won it for excellence in arithmetic, so this is perhaps unsurprising.
