London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1968. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 8.5" by 5.5". None. The scarce first UK edition of Ross Thomas' 'The Seersucker Whipsaw'. This was Thomas' third work, following 'The Cold War Swap' and 'Cast A Yellow Shadow'. Ross Thomas was a popular crime and thriller author, who won the Edgar Award for his debut novel. Some of his other novels include 'The Fools in Town are on Our Side', 'The Porkchopper', and 'The Eighth Dwarf'. In a blue cloth binding with original clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities.. Dustwrapper has some edgewear (including a few small closed tears), some handling marks, and a label to the rear. Ink signature to front free-endpaper, with bookseller's label to rear pastedown, which has offset slightly onto the endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
