Second impression. 8vo, pp. [280], [4], [12 catalogue] + b/w frontis and plates, plus numerous line drawings unpacking some of Houdini's tricks. Red cloth, spine lettered in black. Spine sunned, wear and nicking to spine ends, puncture to middle, boards a little grubby and cockled. Some foxing, short closed tear to plate between pp. 32-3. A robust copy of the biography of the escape artist by a Vice-Present of the Magician's Club. Good.
