Prize plate stuck to front free endpaper,. Slight crinkling to paper at gutter. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and foxing to text block edges. Binding is firm throughout with minor thumb-marking. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Minor loss to half title page. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Slight crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped Jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning to interior flaps, panels and spine.
