A beautiful and thought-provoking collection of poetry from nineteenth century Ireland.Aubrey de Vere (1814-1902) was an Irish poet and critic. His poetry is serious, with religious undercurrents.Bound in full leather, with blind stamped detail to the boards. In a full straight grain morocco binding. Externally a trifle rubbed, with loss to the leather of the joints, the head and tail of the spine and raised bands. Gift inscription to the front blank. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
