Descriptive of the sculptured bosses in the roof of the Bauchun Chapel of Our Lady of Pity in Norwich Cathedral by Montague Rhodes James. With an introduction by W. T. Bensly. Illustrated with four full page plates. Collated, complete. Montague Rhodes James was an English author and scholar, provost of King's College and of Eton College. He is however best remembered for his ghost stories, which are considered to be some of the best in the genre. Featuring ex libris bookplate from the library of J. A. B. Bolton. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally sound with some shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities of boards, boards lightly marked. Occasional light ink mark to odd leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Good
