This is the second and final catalogue raisonné of Barbara Hepworth's sculptural works produced during the pioneering British artist's Lifetime. Compiled and edited by Alan Bowness, it features a transcribed interview between Bowness and Hepworth along with a complete illustrated inventory of two hundred and twenty-six pieces executed between 1960 and 1970. A bright, most handsome example of the exceedingly uncommon deluxe slipcased edition limited to one hundred and fifty NUMBERED copies containing the beautiful 11 ½ x 9 ½" color screenprint "Winter Solstice" SIGNED AND NUMBERED Barbara Hepworth 52/150" in pencil on the lower right margin housed in the publisher's slightly bumped printed slipcase.
