Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1874. First edition. Hardcover. Good. Considered America's first bibliomystery. First edition in original green cloth with gold titles, brown endpapers. Front free endpaper has chips along edges. Foxing on six pages and a crease on rear endpaper. Cloth is torn and chipped at bottom and top of spine. Worn through to the boards at corners. Still book is bright and straight with no marks inside.
