The text is illustrated with three inserts, of eight pages of black-and-white photography. Orange coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Plaintext dustwrapper with orange, pink and white coloured titles to the front panel and white and pink coloured titles to the back strip. Photograph of the author and Marilyn Monroe to the rear panel. A look at Hollywood actors as seen through the lens of the author, a gossip columnist. Rubbing of the book corners and softening and rubbing of the back strip edges. Some marks to the front panel along with some flecking along the top edge. The rear panel shows some white marks commensurate with the dustwrapper sticking. Age toning of the text block edges. Chipping of the top dustwrapper corners and to the back strip edges. There is a 1.25" tear to the top left hand corner of the front panel and 1/2 inch tear to the top right hand corner of the rear panel. Remnants of a sticker can be seen to the top right hand corner of the front panel. Sunning to the rear panel and there has been staining along the top edge of the verso of the dustwrapper, rear fold over panel and rear panel only. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
