About This Item
Cambridge: Macmillan and Co, 1859. Hardcover. Octavo in quarter maroon leather and three quarters maroon cloth over boards, with leather corners and gilt text and design. The spine has five raised bands, and the text block edges are in full gilt. The endpapers are red marbled paper, and there is a navy ribbon sewn into the head of the binding. Condition: Very Good. The front joint is worn and has been repaired. The volume shows minimal shelf wear, and the binding is square and tight. There is some age-toning to text block, and a previous owner's name has been penciled neatly onto the front free endpaper. 244 pp. shelved front case. 1327533. Shelved Dupont Bookstore.
