Rubbed on ends of spine and on corners, spine faded, cracked at title page so slightly shaken, front illustration surface rubbed, small mark (1/4 inch) on fore edge. Pages darkened, tear (1.5 inch) in lower edge of page v and closed tear (3/4 inch) on bottom edge of illustration at page 278, pages lightly thumbed, else very good minus. Long-ago maple leaves pressed between the pages.. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No DJ. Illus. by Wyeth, N.C.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
