Some rubbing to covers.; 116 pages + 23 plates + colour folding map. Printed green wrappers. Page dimensions: 215 x 140mm. The illustrations are mostly of fish and the netting equipment. One unusual illustration shows a man sitting in the water on top of the trawling net as it is being brought in, being supported by the mass of snapper in the haul - "So great is the buoyancy of a large haul of schnapper when drawn from deep water that the mass is capable of supporting for some time the weight of a man." .
