New York: Munn & Co, 1914. Unbound. Very Good. Magazine. Folio measuring 16" x 11.25". 35pp. Cover Illustration of bombs exploding in the harbor on unsuspecting soldiers. Some small chips and tears with the covers detached but present thus very good. Included is a 46" x 16" fold out poster of an "Exact Size of Shell of the 42-Centimeter German Gun" near fine with some tiny tears and tape repairs on the verso. "Scientific American," has been the world's leading source for science and technology information since 1845. This particular issue focuses directly on World War I and the technological advances being seen on the war front. Notable contributors include Charles Deepsee, Martin Wells, and Benjamin Baker.
