A limited edition, with four hundred and seventy five copies printed. In vellum. The School for Scandal is a comedy of manners play written by Richard Brinsley Sheridan and was first performed in 1777.  Sheridan was an Irish satirist and playwright and was the long time owner of the London Theatre Royal on Drury Lane. With in-text designs by Thomas Lowinsky. Some pages remain unopened, including the title page. In half vellum with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with some light marks to the boards and spine. Some pages remain unopened, including the title page. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good Indeed
