About This Item

Book is in very good+ condition. Corners lightly bumped one small dent on leading front edge. Spine worn lightly, top 1/16" missing, lower edge worn with one 1/16th tear. Light foxing to endpapers and top of page block. Front hinge has 1" separation near center, rear hinge has 5/8" separation near top; binding quite sturdy. John Lane catalog bound into back of book at publication, some pages not yet cut. Book is from library of John Burns (October 30th, 1901), likely English radical politician, his name and date on second page.
