About This Item

New York: Scarlet Editions, 1992. First printing. 442 pp., 7 x 10 inches. Perfect-bound into printed card covers.

An omnibus volume that collects seven books by the authors (three of which had appeared in previous incarnations): Penniless Politics, Sophia Scarlett, and Nava Sutra by Oliver; The Descent of Alette, Beginning with a Stain, Twelve Poems without Mask, and Homer's Art by Notley. (The Descent of Alette appears here four years before the Penguin edition.) This copy signed by both authors on the title page, with a brief inscription. Slight toning to edges of the text block, and light edgewear and splaying, nonetheless essentially a fine copy. All of the Scarlet publications are scarce, especially so signed.
