Cassell and Company Ltd., 1934. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1934. Cheap Edition. 316 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Binding remains reasonably firm but text block is held on by the end papers. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Previous owner's pencil inscription to front free end paper. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Top edge of text block is dust marked.
