About This Item

London: Poet & Printer, 1967. First Edition . Soft cover. Fine. The Hughes book is in fine condition as are the companion volumes in this portfolio. This is the most elusive format of this book. The portfolio itself is fine but the dj has short tears at the head and foot of the spine. It contains Alan Tarling's brief explanation of the press and its intention. While Sagar includes the Hughes book (A11), he does not note the portfolio format that includes all four of the the Poet & Printer books published in Spring, 1967. While the edition of the Hughes book was approximately 400 copies, the total number of copies of the portfolio was certainly much smaller.
