Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Clean map-illustrated endpapers. Very small old price marking at upper corner of front free endpaper; no names or bookplates. Pages are clean, slightly tanned. Liberally illustrated with black and white photographs. 397 pages. Illustrated dust jacket is clean, not price clipped (4.00 on front inside flap), shallow edge chipping at top and bottom spine ends. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover..
